DDG offer the glass printing with the quality ceramic ink that achieve the features with environmentally friendly, versatility, and flexibility, visuality. The mixture of colors create the image printing with resolution up 720dpi in your glass design. It’s suitable for both interior and façade. The product must be heat treated and can be used monolithically, or included in laminated and insulating glass units (IGUs).
DDG Fabrics, Smesh and Alumesh brings a whole new dimension to decorative glass. It features a collection of tastefully selected UV resistant meshes and fabrics well-like and sought after by designers and architects that adds a unique depth in creating 3 dimensional effects on glass panels without compromising daylighting requirements.
DDG Honeycomb series was a product developed after repeated enquiries from architects and designers we came into contact with. DDG Anti-Bandit glass is a laminated safety glass which offers differing combination and thickness of glass and interlayers to combat against intentional impact like break-ins or robbery. DDG’s offers anti-bandit glass at different categories of impact resistance and are certified under EN 356 standard, resistance against manual attack.

It’s a common misconception that bullet resistance glass do not shatter upon impact. In fact, bullet-resistance glass shatters too, but the layers of plastic sandwiched between the layers of glass absorb the impact and dissipate the bullet’s energy.
DDG’s bullet resistance glass are made from multiple layers of tough glass with “interlayers” of various plastics depending on the impact level.

DDG Fire Rated is designed to prevent the spread of fire, smoke and radiant heat using a special fire-rated gel. It is available with 1 hour (EI60) and 2 hour (EI120) fire protection. Fire rated glass can be customized with Low-E glass and digital printing to meet both safety and design needs.

They call it magic, switchable and sometimes on/off glass. DDG Smart Glass adopts the use of a PDLC film sandwiched in between glass lites which enables users to switch glass panels from opaque to transparent.

Laminated glass is a glass panel that comprises of 2 lites of glass sandwiched by an interlayer (PVB/ SGP/EVA). Laminated glass is safety glass due to the fact that when breakages happen, the fragments are held by the interlayer and do not fall off.
Laminated glass can be combined with other processes and can be transformed to a wide range of enhanced decorative features. They are also highly used as noise filtering panels due to their excellent acoustical properties.

Commonly known as double glazed unit (DGU) or insulating glass unit (IGU), this glass configuration comprises of two panes of glass that are separated by a spacer and filled with air or argon gas that seeks to increase insulation efficiency, cut down solar and radiant heat. These qualities can be further enhanced by adding frit and other materials.
DDG host a series of insulated glass ranging from reflective, solar control, pyrolytic up to triple low e soft coatings to reduce incoming solar heat. They are available in different tints to suit require building aesthetics.

Heat strengthened glass is a semi tempered glass that is being heated to a uniform temperature of approximately 650º C to 700 º C in a furnace. It has twice the strength of float glass and provides necessary resistance to thermal stress.

Tempering is the process by which annealed glass is heated in the same way as heat strengthened glass but cooled more rapidly which gives the glass its superior strength. Tempered glass are about 2 times and 4 times stronger than heat strengthened and float glass respectively. Tempered glass is safety glass as they break into granular pieces instead of larger sharks and not meant to cause injury.

You may all heard that tempered glass has a tendency to shatter spontaneously due to NiS (Nickel Sulphide) inclusions that are predominantly found in raw materials used to make glass sheets. These inclusions are often too small to be detected and removed. To reduce the possibility of spontaneous breakage post installation, we recommend heat soaking of tempered glass prior to delivery. DDG’s heat soaking protocol follows the international Standard BS EN 14179-1:2005. Glass in building —. Heat soaked thermally toughened soda lime silicate safety glass to ascertain risk of spontaneous breakage. This provides greater assurance to building and owners on the use of tempered glass for their projects.

Wondering how glass can keep itself clean? DDG’s self-cleaning glass adopts the use of a proprietary coating that breaks down dirt, grease and contaminants via sunlight and washed away by rain. Besides being environmentally friendly, it is also extremely durable and requires very low level of maintenance.

DDG Basic / Jumbo Series host a wide range of exciting colors and hues. Primary colors comprise of clear, low iron (crystal clear) glass, blue, bronze, grey, light grey and green. Dual hue mixed tint colors are also available such as blue grey and blue green.
These colours are usually used in tandem with other products to limit solar heat gain and minimize glare.
